Investigates an entry in the Prague cathedral records referring to a certain "Henrich" who received payment for work on an image of S. Wenceslaus on 3 Apr 1373. Relates this entry to a statue of S. Wenceslaus in the Wenceslaus chapel of the cathedral, which has a Parler insignia on its base. Discusses the possible roles of Peter Parler, Heinrich IV Parler, and several other Heinrichs who were in the cathedral workshop in the late 14th c. Reviews assumptions and conclusions of previous scholars, and determines that the identity of the sculptor and the relation of the statue to the payment entry cannot be resolved at present.
