Study of a grisaille rondel representing two young women seated and holding the monogram LG (formerly in the Musée Cluny, now in the Musée national de la Renaissance at Ecouen); relates the style to that of Jean Fouquet, proposing that the design but not the execution was his, and that the initials are those of Laurent Girard, a patron of Fouquet and associate of Etienne Chevalier.
