Describes a process that uses silicone rubber instead of gum arabic to reject printing inks. The process eliminates the use of dampening water when printing lithographs and produces extremely stable printing plates. It works with traditional grained plates, as well as photosensitive plates, and traditional lithographic drawing materials can be used.
