Abstract (en)

Danish artist Per Kirkeby writes about artistic and scientific "seeing." He states: "I really paint what I see. I see with the coding apparatus called painting. As my particular way to think is to paint, I see differently from time to time. I have moments of absolute clear-sightedness, delighted "seeing" (skuen) that I experience as absolute seeing".
