Abstract (en)

Presents a calendar commissioned by the League, which comprised 12 offset lithographic images by different artists. The American League Against War and Fascism was formed in 1933 (the organization collapsed in 1939) and commissioned works from artists such as A. Dehn, W. Gropper, L. Lozowick and L. Ribak. The prints in the calendar explore the horrors of the war in Europe.
