Abstract (en)

The artist describes her interactive computer works, which derive from her performance art of the 1970s. She asserts that computer technology allows for the creation of a sense of community in the experience of art. The potential of these new media has empowered individuals not only to make contact with technology, but to participate meaningfully in the ensuing dialogue.
