Consists mainly of five essays: "The story of the willing tourist and the reluctant curator," by Roald Nasgaard; "The Hungarian iceberg: seven artists at the Art Gallery of Ontario," by Katalin Néray; "Catalysts of change: a social and cultural context for contemporary Hungarian art," by Clara Hargittay; "Hungarian art in the early 1990s: individual positions--defining new contexts," by Lóránd Hegyi; and "Springwater is old rainwater: film for mobius strip," by Lázló Beke. Includes artists' statements, chronologies and selected bibliographies for the seven artists represented. Checklist of 34 works exhibited.
