Abstract (en)

Reports the rediscovery of a group of paintings, including portraits and a family tree of the Strozzi family of Mantua, formerly in the Strozzi villa at Palidano, now in a private collection; attributes seven of the eight pictures to Schivenoglia on grounds of style; suggests that his difficult personality and a disturbing quality in his work caused him to be eclipsed by Bazzani.
