Reviews the exhibition held at the Museum of Modern Art, New York (16 June-11 Sept 1994), which featured works of seven artists and purported to show how the vocabulary of minimal art (grid, repetition, geometric structure) has been annexed to the expression of feminist ideas; the reviewer finds that the works shown have nothing to do with minimalism but do recall solipsistic, narcissistic body art of the 1960s and 1970s.
