Parkinson presents archival proof that the Robert Hancock associated with the Worcester Porcelain Company from ca.1756 to 1774 was living at Tividale, near Dudley in Worcestershire, in the early 1780s. The relevant documents are a house plan, a lease, and a copy of a lease. It has been argued in the past that Robert Hancock of Worcester and Robert Hancock of Tividale were two different men, though both were engravers (see Transactions - English Ceramic Circle, 1984, 12, no 1).
