Review of 16 publications on the Medici of Florence which were published for the "year of Lorenzo" (1992), the five hundred year anniversary of the death of Lorenzo il Magnifico. Among the topics are: the Medici in Florence, Botticelli's Primavera (Florence, Uffizi Gallery), Lorenzo il Magnifico, Medici architecture, and Bertoldo di Giovanni.
