Abstract (en)

Reports on results of recent dismantling of the Incredulity of S. Thomas pendant in the Wallace Collection, London. The enamelled gold pendant is here described as French, early 19th c., and hence a forgery of a Renaissance piece. It has sometimes been identified as partly late-16th c. and partly ca.1837.
