Gavreau, founder and director of the Ecole du Meuble in Montreal, in the context of French Canadian economic problems, issues of cultural identity, and the ideological polemic in favor of craftsmanship over industrialization. Comments on the influence that his experience at the Ecole Boulle in Paris had on him.
