Provides a detailed account of the building history, followed by chapters on the iconography of the sculptural decorations of the facades, on the altars, and on the lost treasure of the cathedral; also provides an appendix with transcriptions of 64 documents dated 1655-1787, including inventories (1697-1787), contracts, reports, and records of payment.
