Abstract (en)
Reports the discovery of properties of paint which, when surface tension is reduced by thinning with an amphiphilic compound, permit the medium to exhibit self-similar patterns like those found in nature (e.g., growth, flow, erosion, and symmetry); describes the creation of representational images by controlling the surface tension, viscosity, evaporation and gravity of the paint.
