Discusses Eli Langer's images of children and sex, and the prosecution of both Langer and his dealer for child pornography under Canadian Bill C-128, following his exhibition at the Mercer Union Gallery, Toronto, Nov 1993. Argues that the case reflects society's chronic inability to deal with sexual anxiety and the legal system's failure to comprehend the products of the unfettered imagination.
