Provides a transcription with commentary of an inventory of Lapiere's household possessions from his London home in Pall Mall, drawn up in the year following his death in 1714. Lapiere was an eminent French upholsterer who worked in England from the early 1680s until his death. Glossary of furnishing terms appended.
