Reviews the exhibition Fiamminghi a Roma, 1508-1608 (Brussels, Palais des beaux-arts, to 21 May 1995; and Rome, Palazzo delle esposizione, 7 June-4 Sept 1995). The show is a panoramic survey of the visual arts--chiefly paintings, drawings and engravings with some sculpture and tapestry--executed by artists from the Low Countries who visited Italy during the period.
