Abstract (en)

Introduction to Harewood House in West Yorkshire which was built and decorated 1750s-1770s with contributions by John Carr, Robert Adam and Thomas Chippendale. The photographs which illustrate this article show Harewood after a 10-year program of restoration which included Alec Cobbe's rehanging of the picture collection.
