Abstract (en)

Reports on the project AVIADOR (Avery Videodisc Index of Architectural Drawings on RLIN), which was launched in 1983 at Columbia University (New York). The paper provides a general description of the project's working methods which involved "...a complex network of tasks, technical standards, and products..." More than 41,000 architectural drawings have been entered into the records.
