Discusses Petitot's drawings (Parma, Museo Glauco Lombardi, ca.1762), engraved by Benigno Bossi and printed in a book entitled Masquerade à la greque. (The drawings were made during Petitot's stay at the court of Parma.) Suggests that Petitot may have designed the images, which represent men and women in architectonic Neoclassical costumes, to be produced in sculpture.
