Describes the art and architectural history (14th-20th cs.) of the church and monastery of the SS. Trinità, Viterbo, built mid 13th-early 14th c., by the Augustinians, restored 1672, and rebuilt, 1727-1745. The church contains a venerated fresco of the Madonna and Child, previously attributed by scholars to Donato Bonavere and the painter Gregorio.
