Booklet with short essays on aspects of the Queensland Art Gallery's history since 1982 when it opened on its present site in Brisbane. Attention is given to the gallery's role in Queensland cultural life; international programs; collection of late-19th and 20th c. Australian art; collection in situ and on tour; and building. Includes a summary of centenary exhibitions and other events. The booklet is published as a supplement to the winter 1995 issue of Art and Australia.
