On Stonor Park, near Henley in Oxfordshire, which has been home to the Stonor family and a stronghold of Catholicism since the 12th c. The core of the house is Medieval, with Tudor and 18th c. additions, and redecoration carried out in the 1950s. The contents of Stonor Park, except for family portraits, were sold in 1976. Two years later, Thomas Stonor, 7th Baron Camoys, took possession and, together with his wife Beth, refurnished the house as their residence and for presentation to the public.
