Study of the so-called Weimar drawing of Leonardo, a sheet dated ca.1500 with studies of a child with a lamb on the recto and verso, and some technological studies on the verso, purchased by the Getty Museum, Malibu, in 1986. Discusses its iconography and its significance in terms of Leonardo's return to Florence (reprint from La Nazione, 3 Oct 1986).
