Reports on the conservation of two cartoons by Agostino Carracci for the ceiling of the Galleria in Palazzo Farnese, Rome; also discusses mural painting and cartoon transfer techniques, the collaboration between Agostino and Annibale Carracci, and the provenance of the two cartoons (Cephalus Carried off by Aurora in her Chariot and A Woman Borne off by a Sea God).
