Abstract (en)

Seeks to demonstrate that it is possible to interpret the figure of Eve in the lintel relief by Gislebertus without misogyny or sexual objectification; argues that the relief represents Eve before the Fall, disputing Werckmeister on this point, and citing Medieval views (e.g., S. Ambrose) on Adam and Eve and grace and free will.
