Abstract (en)

Reports on the state of documentation of Latin American art; lists recent and current indexes and surveys earlier sources; concludes by describing the LATINOARTE project of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, a database that already contains 1500 records on contemporary Latin American art and plans to expand its coverage to earlier periods and to include the collections of 62 centers of information in and beyond the Latin American countries.
