Transcribes and discusses correspondence (1764-1765) between the painter Cesare Ligari (in Como) and two friends (Giambattista Salvetti and Antonio Contino) in Sondrio, after Ligari's departure (1764) from the latter city. Focuses on the description of the public festivities (decorations, music, etc.) held in 1765 to honor Cristoforo Sprecher, at the end of his term as vicar.
