Presents evidence in support of the hypothesis that two panels depicting pairs of Angels (Boston, Museum of Fine Arts and Church of the Advent) and the Madonna and Child Enthroned with SS. Vincent Ferrer and Jerome in the Yale University Art Gallery, New Haven, did originally comprise an altarpiece executed by Piero di Cosimo for the Compagnia di S. Vincenzo Ferreri in Florence; identifies the painting as one described by Giovanni Cinelli in the quarters of the Compagnia dell'Arcangelo Raffaello in S. Maria Novella (Florence) in 1677.
