One-hundred six unpublished and uncatalogued drawings by Sir William Chambers, Robert Adam, Henry Holland, James Essex and others have been recently rediscovered at Dublin's Chester Beatty Library. This article provides a general account of the so-called Philip Hardwick Album, illustrates certain interesting drawings, discusses possible provenance, and contains a detailed listing of contents in an appendix. The album was evidently used as a source and pattern book for an architectural office. There are no perspective drawings and only one topographical work.
