Abstract (en)

Describes the new building for San Francisco's public library, called the New Main, and the site-specific artworks created for it. The library was designed by James Ingo Freed and Cathy Simon; art was designed by Alice Aycock, Nayland Blake, Ann Hamilton and Ann Chamberlain.
