Abstract (en)

Publishes a transcription of the earliest inventory of the collection of Nicolò Sagredo, drawn up by Agostino Lama at a date here fixed between 1685 and 1698. Notes that the extensive descriptions of the paintings, correlated with the evidence of the inventory of 1738, make secure identifications possible. Discusses paintings by Bernardo Strozzi, Borgognone, Viviano Codazzi, Pietro da Cortona, and others, which Sagredo purchased or commissioned.
