Abstract (en)

Treats the chancel screens, both dating from the first third of the 13th c., of the two churches. Portions of them survive, including their triumphal crucifixes. Offers hypothetical reconstructions of their original appearances, the reconstruction of the Liebfrauenkirche screen informed by excavations. Both buildings were damaged by Heinrich der Löwe in 1179, and the screens belong to the period of rebuilding.
