Abstract (en)
Concentrates on late Baroque/Rococo painting in Southern Germany, with particular attention to the Keller family of painters from Allgäu: Joseph Keller, Alois Keller, Joseph Maria Anton Keller, and Karl Keller. Much of the text addresses murals, especially ceiling paintings, but oil paintings are also included. Incorporates discussion of painting in Austria and Switzerland as well.
