Author declares that she has visited no "important or even interesting" exhibition in the past 10 years, claiming the last exciting show of her experience was Tokyo: Form and Spirit (1986; Minneapolis, Walker Art Center). Proclaims need to bring the spirit of the Ginza - motion, stimulation, shopping - to more American museums.
