Abstract (en)

Responds to the paintings of Lorenzo Lotto as seen at, and in conjunction with, the retrospective of his work held at the Accademia Carrara, Bergamo. Focuses on the major works - altarpieces and mural paintings - still sited in Bergamo and environs and open specifically for the exhibition: Virgin and Child with Saints (1516; S. Bartolomeo); Virgin and Child with Saints (1521; S. Spirito); Virgin and Child with Saints (1521; S. Bernardino in Pignolo); and the murals of 1523-1524 in the Oratorio Suardi (Trescore).
