On the escutcheons (18th-early 20th cs.) with the coats of arms of citizens who were appointed "guardians" of the Contrada del Nicchio. These escutcheons (chiefly tempera on wood) are found in the Nicchia quarter of Siena. Includes a heraldic chart.
