On the archaeological and architectural history, 1261-18th c., of the convent of S. Francesco, Ravenna. Focuses on the two cloisters in the convent: the Chiostro di Dante (built late 13th c.) and the Chiostro della Cassa (early 16th c.). Analyzes the materials (chiefly spolia columns) used in the construction of the second cloister, and provides a catalogue list of these reused elements.
