Analyzes previously unpublished documents (1322-1348) on the commission (by Fuccio di donna Imeldina) for a polyptych altarpiece for the church of S. Agostino (now S. Chiara), Sansepolcro. The last of the documents (1348) records a payment by the Augustinians to Niccolò di Segna for the Resurrection Polyptych (Sansepolcro, Pinacoteca comunale). Examines the iconography of the polyptych in the light of the history of the religious orders and traditions of Sansepolcro. Appendix: documents 1343-1348.
