Les archives de l'abbaye cistercienne de Sticna possèdent des documents concernant une monstrance commandée en 1908 par l'abbé Gerard Maier aux ateliers munichois Harrach & Sohn. Une lettre de Rudolf Harrach permet notamment de reconstituer l'aspect originel de l'oeuvre qui a été endommagée pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale
