Studies display techniques used in the National Portrait Gallery (London) from the 1970s to the present. Emphasizes the contrast between the Victorian galleries as installed by Richard Ormond (curator) and Caroline Brown (designer) in the 1970s; by Peter Funnell (curator) and, again, Brown in 1991; and by Piers Gough (designer) in 1996.
