Review of two artists' books. Field guide to the books of Hans Waanders is a parody of a guidebook on birds, and is a guide to 52 of the artist's bookworks issued from 1984 to 1995. The habitat and nature of the kingfisher provides the central metaphor. Craig-Martin's Book is comprised of screenprinted pages depicting diagrammatic figurative images placed one per page.
