Abstract (en)

The first edition of this book appeared in 1995, in celebration of the first 30 years of the Hallmark Photographic Collection which is sponsored by Hallmark Cards (Kansas City). This new, expanded version provides a 'snapshot' of the collection at the 35-year mark. The collection, founded in 1964, now contains nearly 4000 photographs from the 19th and 20th cs. This study presents 500 works dating 1885-1995.
