Catalogues and discusses 26 different Dutch editions of the Italian architectural theorist's work, dating from 1640 to 1854. Recounts the competition in the 17th c. century among publishers to produce the most useful and complete edition, and the market for Scamozzi, which was actually one that called for more practical and less theoretical texts.
