Pottery producing towns included Modena, Sassuolo, San Possidonio, Correggio and Scandiano. Discusses notable manufactories, including that of Giovanni Maria Dallari in Sassuolo. Includes a photographic repertory of typologies, and explanation of techniques, and the results of scientific analyses.
