Abstract (en)

Analyzes a map (Bagnone, Archivio storico comunale; 1764) of the Lusuolo area drawn by Carlo Maria Mazzoni, focusing on the representation of a church (S. Matteo) in the environs of the town. Identifies several archival documents (1187-1584) on the church and describes the site as it appears today (late 20th c.), noting that little remains, and that excavations would be necessary to recover further information on the building.
