Attributes the mid-15th-c. Palazzo dei Salviati, now augmented and incorporated into the Palazzo Borghese (Florence, via Ghibellina), to the circle of Michelozzo. Traces the sculptor's movements in the 1430s, noting that he was in Florence in 1433 (documented by the commission for a wedding festival); surveys the ties of the Salviati and Medici families; and details Michelozzo's appearance (and those members of his shop) in Salviati family records.
