Abstract (en)

Provides biographical information on some Huguenot goldsmiths who emigrated from Angers and Saumur to Britain after 1685. The Guichardière and LaBrosse families and Pierre Michon set up shop in London. Pierre Amiraux settled in Jersey ca.1719. Beet identifies the marks of Jean Guichardière and Pierre LaBrosse.
