Studies the various works associated with Lotto in the collection of the 19th-c. Bergamasque collector conte Guglielmo Lochis, noting that among them are paintings now seen to be by Andrea Previtali (Flight into Egypt; London, private collection), works then ascribed to Titian and Holbein that are in fact by or after Lotto, and, acquired in 1829, Lotto's masterful Madonna and Sleeping Child (Bergamo, Accademia Carrara).
